My Aunt Tells Me I Was Born Laughing!
I am having so much fun these days working on my Aunt Jessie’s blog. This chance to re-connect with her has been such a blessing for both of us. She made the comment a few days ago that one of our relatives use to comment that they thought I must have been born laughing! What a compliment to have someone say that about me!
It’s amazing to me how the years can take that away from a person… (if you allow it to.) I have been fortunate to have allowed the “born laughter” that is such a part of me, to the core of my being, to return. I thank my Aunt Jessie for telling me that comment that I was born laughing. We have been so fortunate to have shared in building her blog at Sewing Seeds of Joy over the past few weeks. Take a minute to visit her site… you will be amazed at how talented she is!
This Photo is of That Little Kid That Was Born Laughing!
This photo is one that I found of me when I was about 3 years old. I used it in the current PhotoShop class I am taking. I just had to find a black and white photo to repair and add color to it! This was a challenge, but it also helped me to realize that I really was born laughing for sure!
I got an e-mail from my teacher and she said I did a great job creating layers and performing the needed steps for my first photo shop project. Maybe it was because that little kid was born laughing.
I think many people were born laughing… they just forget how to laugh with age!
I have been so blessed to have had a “happy accident” 2 years ago when I fell of of that ladder! The end result of that “happy accident” has caused me to really realize that I was truly born laughing! What a gift to realize that there really are no accidents! Thanks to my friend Colin Long and my weekly mastermind group I realized that ancient truth. If you believe there are accidents in your life, at least make them “happy accidents”! Stop blaming others for where you are, and be grateful for what you do have.
I am really reflecting these days about many things, and I think it is good to do that often. But, I always like to remember there are two days of the week I can’t do anything about…. “Yesterday and Tomorrow”! This helps me to “stay in the moment” better than anything. I have learned so much in the past 2 years about myself. I have learned how to build blogs for people, learned to do keyword research, learned to connect with people I would never been able to without the experience of my “happy accident”. CLICK HERE for information about the place that taught me how to start having fun with internet marketing! The BEST thing of all, is that I have realized I was born laughing, and nothing will ever change that!
