Welcome

Welcome to Doug Casady.com

Hello and Welcome,
My name is Doug Casady and I want to welcome you to my site. I am working online due to a work related injury that changed my life. Not in a bad way at all… it has allowed me to discover new possibilities for my life.

You see, I have been working in construction all of my life. The first time I was around the Masonry Trade I was 9 years old. My Grandma Perry… (my Mom’s mother) was building a new home for herself in 1962. It was a home in Conifer, Colorado. She hired an old German contractor by the name of Justis Roheling. He was awesome!

When he was building the foundation on the house he let me work with him. That was the first time I actually smelled mortar! I really do think it got in my blood way back then. It is a trade that is so rewarding. You can really get a sense of accomplishment from a job well done.

The transition from working as a Brick and Stone Mason to working online has been a challenge to say the least. I am really enjoying it in many positive ways. When you get to a certain point in your life the desire to learn new things just isn’t there unless you are driven to learn out of necessity! That is what has happened for me, and I am so grateful for this!

I have built a few small Blogs since coming online, and the sense of accomplishment in doing this has been great for me. I have connected with some very successful Online Marketers which has been the key to learning without a doubt. Training, training and more training… that’s the key to success at any job! Don’t become stagnant no matter what age you are!

“Success is waking up in the morning, whoever you are, however old or young, and bounding out of bed because there’s something out there that you love to do, that you believe in, that you’re good at — something that’s bigger than you are, and you can’t hardly wait to get at it again today.” A quote by… Gary Halbert… a marketing genius! I am so glad to have found that drive to succeed for myself again!

Thanks again for visiting my site. Enjoy yourself and get busy doing something… Time is a gift that we all have the same amount of. How you use it is your choice!

Here is a link to one of my other blogs I am having fun putting together. http://mybricksandstones.com to see some of my past projects in my years as a Mason.

Best of success to you,
Doug Casady
